Random!Random!Random!!!!

It's Christmas time!! Whhooohhhoooo! A couple weeks ago - my mom made me these peanut M&M cookies that I can NOT say "no" too! They are my most favorite EVER and I will NEVER be able to figure out how to make them! I don't know what all the white stuff is around them, other than PURE heaven!! LOL! I wish I could share just ONE with all my bloggy friends....Last Friday night Santa came to daycare to visit all the kiddos! Coby and Payton walked up to him holding hands and Santa said "are you brother and sister?" Payton piped RIGHT up and said "NO! He's my boyfriend!" HA!!! They crack me up!! These 2 have been in daycare together since they were 8 weeks old - they are the best of friends. I tease Payton's mom about my daughter-in-law! LOL!
So - yesterday was an adventure for Cory.....Coby had an accident at daycare (during naptime)and daycare had NO extra clothes for Coby. So Cory had to run to Target and get Coby all new clothes, from socks to underwear to pants and shirts. (I left this job up to Cory because his job is less than a mile from Coby's daycare and school!) Note: Cory has NEVER bought Coby clothes! Don't get me wrong...he's a great dad - this is just something he has never had to do! Coby's outfit was QUITE interesting.....I will leave it at that! My son who wears a size 5 - had on navy blue windpants size 6/7 a turquoise blue t-shirt and red/green christmas socks. ha!!!! Anyway - he made it through the day without getting laughed at and mom has now taken 2 extra outfits to daycare! :)
I took Dylan Christmas shopping last night. He is 16 - and for many years has liked getting family/friends Christmas gifts JUST FROM HIM! He did really good and budgeted really well. Then he had to buy jewlery for his dumb girlfriend! UGH! Girls are dumb....and don't need to date my son! (yeah, a little bitter!) Why do girls always have to suck up all your money!?!?!
I'm WAY in the Christmas spirit and LOVE everything about Christmas! Hope everyone is ready.....it's just around the corner!

  1. You are cracking me up! I had a little boyfriend in kindergarten. Aren't kids just the cutest? And I guess all my boyfriends (and husband) lucked out. I don't care for jewelry. Although, I do want a Pandora bracelet, to which Hubby said, "you got a surround sound system" Let's just say I think he has it backwards.

    Love the pics!

  10. Feel free to post that cookie recipe when you wrestle it out of your mom! I think you should be thankful that your son isn't a girl! Can you imagine what your husband would have bought then?

Merry Christmas! Glad that you liked your SSS gift :)

  11. I can relate on the clothes thing. My wife doesn't understand why I don't like to pick out my son's clothes. It is too hard for me, but sometimes I do it anyway. I prefer jeans and a t-shirt all the time. Just like Dad.

    Merry Christmas!
