Coby's Birthday Shirt

So - I was feeling a little creative this year for Coby's birthday! And believe it or not - having a hard time finding a Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear shirt that was CUTE!!! So....This is what I came up with ! I've NEVER done it before! I used Seam2Seam and applied the buzzlight year fabric (you like the rocket style?) And of course the #4. Then last night I used my sewing machine and did a zigzag stitch around everything to add a little life to it!
What do you think?
Should I keep my day job? LOL!

Pictures, pictures, pictures!

I have a hard time doing a blog-post without ANY pictures! I don't know why - just a personal preference, I guess?
What better time to play with bubbles, but while you are taking a BUBBLE BATH, right?

Ok....this next picture is for all those mom's out there who have teenage boys! PLEASE explain a few things to me! My teenager, has ALWAYS been my happy go lucky , polite, respectful, know-how-to-put-a-smile-on-your-face-kid! Up unitl lately.....Mine is the one on that back row with his arms crossed flat-bill hat on with a "mean" look on his face. WHAT THE?!?!?! What happened to my sweet kid? And why does he have to act like he is "Mr. Toughguy" now?
He and I have ALWAYS been SUPER close and got along great! Up until the last few weeks! And now....if he could shoot darts with his eyes....I WOULD BE DEAD!!! What is it with teenagers? And why are the parents (mom's mainly) always the BAD GUYS? REALLY?!?!?
I can't find my instruction booklet? The hospital MUST have given it to me when he was born. About what to do when there is a malfunction!
Please HELP!!!!

Birthday Invitations

I recently had Coby's invitations made for his birthday party. I found them on etsy and absolutely fell in LOVE with them! I ordered them from The Random Panda. Now let me tell you about my experience with "the random panda." Joleen....LOVE that girl!!! I had her change a few things on it....got the invitation JUST how I liked it and placed the order!......A few days later - the party time and location had to be changed! (I KNOW!) I was STRESSED!!! I emailed Joleen with the Random Panda back and she said "sure - no problem and NO CHARGE!"
She worked with me from beginning to end!!!! I HIGHLY recommend THE RANDOM PANDA! I've already placed a second order with her for a friend of ours, ALSO having a birthday party!
If you have a party coming up - please go check out The Random Panda.....if you don't see it in her gallery - she can make it! Yes, she is THAT good! :)
Now.....do you love this invitation as much as I do?

Long, cold, icy, snowing, weekend! :)

So....this is the snow ice cream we made over the weekend! My first time making it - DELCIOUS! See me hard at work! LOL!
This is what our front yard looks like with all the snow - I love it!

And part of the back yard....
This is Sadie-girl! She LOVED playing in the snow - she was even eating the snow!

Coby, daddy and Sadie playing.
Mr. Cuteness
I taught Coby how to make snow angels - he made SEVERAL of them!

This is his first snow angel.

See - he had a great time!

Coby called the ice cicles "music." I think they looked like chimes, and he kept saying "I want to eat some music!"

Before and After of the oldest....

Ok - so we all know....I see things differently than a lot of people....And I KNOW this is really weird, but...as we are sitting at Dylan's orthodontist appt - I notice he doesn't have the hands of a little boy anymore! He has "man hands!" And let me tell you - He FOUGHT me on taking a picture of his hands....I took this one, without him noticing! So now....this is the BEFORE picture - in the car..........(with braces!)
And the AFTER picture. We stopped by to say hello to my mom - so she could see Dylan without braces. He just happened to have on his ROTC uniform today. You could tell she was EXTREMELY proud of him too!

Why do they always have to grow up so fast? This is so sad....it doesn't seem that long ago - that I was rocking this baby boy to sleep! Now I couldn't PICK HIM UP if I wanted too!
