Coby's Christmas with Payton

So - Friday - I picked Coby AND Payton up from daycare. (this was a first for us!) I was a little worried about their "energy" level - but honestly they were AWESOME!!! Note: pajamas are on because it was pajama day at school. We take Coby to the "santa" party every year. This year we brought Payton along with us....after our high energy dinner at McDonalds!
Payton had NO problem telling Santa everything she wanted for Christmas!
Coby was THRILLED with what Santa had brought him! Dinosaur feet slippers and a dinosaur toy!
The little love-birds giving Santa hugs before he headed back to the NorthPole!

Random!Random!Random!!!!

It's Christmas time!! Whhooohhhoooo! A couple weeks ago - my mom made me these peanut M&M cookies that I can NOT say "no" too! They are my most favorite EVER and I will NEVER be able to figure out how to make them! I don't know what all the white stuff is around them, other than PURE heaven!! LOL! I wish I could share just ONE with all my bloggy friends....Last Friday night Santa came to daycare to visit all the kiddos! Coby and Payton walked up to him holding hands and Santa said "are you brother and sister?" Payton piped RIGHT up and said "NO! He's my boyfriend!" HA!!! They crack me up!! These 2 have been in daycare together since they were 8 weeks old - they are the best of friends. I tease Payton's mom about my daughter-in-law! LOL!
So - yesterday was an adventure for Cory.....Coby had an accident at daycare (during naptime)and daycare had NO extra clothes for Coby. So Cory had to run to Target and get Coby all new clothes, from socks to underwear to pants and shirts. (I left this job up to Cory because his job is less than a mile from Coby's daycare and school!) Note: Cory has NEVER bought Coby clothes! Don't get me wrong...he's a great dad - this is just something he has never had to do! Coby's outfit was QUITE interesting.....I will leave it at that! My son who wears a size 5 - had on navy blue windpants size 6/7 a turquoise blue t-shirt and red/green christmas socks. ha!!!! Anyway - he made it through the day without getting laughed at and mom has now taken 2 extra outfits to daycare! :)
I took Dylan Christmas shopping last night. He is 16 - and for many years has liked getting family/friends Christmas gifts JUST FROM HIM! He did really good and budgeted really well. Then he had to buy jewlery for his dumb girlfriend! UGH! Girls are dumb....and don't need to date my son! (yeah, a little bitter!) Why do girls always have to suck up all your money!?!?!
I'm WAY in the Christmas spirit and LOVE everything about Christmas! Hope everyone is ready.....it's just around the corner!

Secret Santa

Georgie over at decisionally challeneged hosted (once again) a
Secret Santa Soiree!
Doing it a little different this year - but I LOVE it!!!
I put my secret santa gift in the mail yesterday - so I thought I better do my post before my person recieves it!
First on the list - i LOVE this kitchen towel and oven mit! This is something I never splurge on for myself - so I decided it would be a good gift!

This little coffee mug was too adorable! It says you can decorate it yourself - but I just love the little penguins already on it.And 2 of my all time favorite things - so I HAD to share those.....First up - antibacterial handsoap from Bath and Body - this one is my FAVORITE...And next....Beauty Rush lip gloss from Victoria Secret. THE BEST!!!! I could not breathe without this stuff! My "person" LOVES snickers - so had to throw some of those in for her.....

And my "person" also loves to read. I, personally, have not read the Hunger Games yet, but have a few friends who have, as well as my teenager! It IS on my "to read" list, so I'm hoping it's a GREAT Christmas gift!
I had fun doing my shopping this year and I hope this makes a GREAT gift for someone special! :)
Thanks for hosting such a fun secret santa, Georgie!!
