Mom's 60th B Day Party

Just a few random pics from my mom's surprise 60th birthday party! This is one of her and the grandkids! Mom - when she first walked in the door! It was SO cute Coby and Summer ran RIGHT up to her and hugged her!

Her birthday cake I ordered! I thought they did an EXCELLENT job!!!

And finally a picture of my mom and all us girls! When I was growing up....I ALWAYS had friends spending the night, or I was at their house! These friends of mine and I just recently re-connected and I have loved EVERY minute of it! Sherri is the one on the left, then me, mom and Tamara! There was MANY a sleep over when mom would stay up and "party" with us! Mom took ALL of us shopping CONTINUALLY! We have lot's of happy memories!!!

And Sherri and Tamara helped SO much in planning this surprise party for my mom! I'm SURE I couldn't have done it without them!!! Thank you girls SO much!!

I feel like it has been FOREVER since I blogged!!!

My mom's SURPRISE 60th birthday is this weekend - I am SO excited! I hope lot's are able to attend.

This is one of the "projects" I've had on my list that I FINALLY completed this weekend! What do you think?
Yesterday morning Coby woke up with bumps all over his face.....then I looked...they were all over his body! He had an allergic reaction to penicillin! YEA! NOT!

OUCH!

So my TEENAGER FELL at school yesterday!!! How you ask? Running from his friend...

It just goes to prove.......they might get older - but they NEVER grow up! He looks WAY too excited to have TORN up knees! I bet he's hoping his track coach will have sympathy on him today!

Coby's Garden Update

Coby and daddy moved Coby's plants outside. As you can tell Daddy did most of the work.

A Classic

Do you all remember these kind of toys growing up? Walking stick? or stilts? Whatever you call them! My parents are the best about finding the "classic" toys and introducing the kids to them! This is one of the gifts they got Hunter for Christmas, and with the weather getting better he was finally able to go outside and give them a try! He laughed....We laughed....he tried doing tricks....it was a FUN time!

Mother's Day is just around the corner!

For Mother's Day this year, I really wanted to get my mom something UNIQUE! So...this is what she will be getting...and umbrealla with the grandkids pictures on it and between each of their pictures is a quote about grandma's (although I edited to say MAWMAW.) I really hope she loves this - I just thought it was TOO cute to pass up!

I was introduced to www.artscow.com by a photographer who took our family pictures last fall. They have ALL sorts of cool gift ideas. And they seem to be really reasonably priced! Now....what you have to keep in mind - they are located in Hong Kong! So shipping usually takes about 2 weeks. But if you sign up with them, they will email you specials, and some really great buys!

(and yes, I can blog about this.....my mom doesn't follow my blog! ) LOL!
