Valentine's & Weekend Wrap Up!

These are the flowers I was greeted with Valentine's morning - I was COMPLETELY surprised! Cory did a good job hiding them. I'm not sure I've ever seen lavendar roses, but I LOVE them! :) And if you will look to the right....this is a "love bug." That is what Coby made me at daycare for Valentine's day! He was SO proud of his love bug! There is water/glitter inside and when you shake it, it's all sparkly! Valentine's evening...we invited my parents over for dinner. And EVERYONE had a blast! It's been a LONG time, since I've seen my dad hold Hunter down on the floor and tickling him! Hunter was laughing hysterically!

Tim, Oh how I LOVE thee......

Ok....for those of you who REALLY know me....then you KNOW I am a DIE-HARD Tim McGraw fan!!! Have been for years! I went and saw him back in 1993 before he was even "Tim McGraw." Know what I mean?

Well, the time has come.......Tim is coming back to town! Oh yeah!! And guess who got an email for the pre-sale tickets? Oh yeah!!! And guess who is going? OH YEAH!!! AND GUESS WHO IS SITTING ON THE FREAKING FLOOR?!!?!?!??!

I can't handle all this excitement!!!! I just want to scream like a little girl!

Be looking for me Tim.........I will be the one acting TOTALLY hysterically! :) Love ya!

Coby's Birthday Shirt

So - I was feeling a little creative this year for Coby's birthday! And believe it or not - having a hard time finding a Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear shirt that was CUTE!!! So....This is what I came up with ! I've NEVER done it before! I used Seam2Seam and applied the buzzlight year fabric (you like the rocket style?) And of course the #4. Then last night I used my sewing machine and did a zigzag stitch around everything to add a little life to it!
What do you think?
Should I keep my day job? LOL!

I have a hard time doing a blog-post without ANY pictures! I don't know why - just a personal preference, I guess?
What better time to play with bubbles, but while you are taking a BUBBLE BATH, right?

Ok....this next picture is for all those mom's out there who have teenage boys! PLEASE explain a few things to me! My teenager, has ALWAYS been my happy go lucky , polite, respectful, know-how-to-put-a-smile-on-your-face-kid! Up unitl lately.....Mine is the one on that back row with his arms crossed flat-bill hat on with a "mean" look on his face. WHAT THE?!?!?! What happened to my sweet kid? And why does he have to act like he is "Mr. Toughguy" now?

He and I have ALWAYS been SUPER close and got along great! Up until the last few weeks! And now....if he could shoot darts with his eyes....I WOULD BE DEAD!!! What is it with teenagers? And why are the parents (mom's mainly) always the BAD GUYS? REALLY?!?!?

I can't find my instruction booklet? The hospital MUST have given it to me when he was born. About what to do when there is a malfunction!

Please HELP!!!!

So....on our "snow break" at home, we did quite a bit of baking....Coby LOVED to help make the brownies.......or should i say he loved licking the remains?

Birthday Invitations

I recently had Coby's invitations made for his birthday party. I found them on etsy and absolutely fell in LOVE with them! I ordered them from The Random Panda. Now let me tell you about my experience with "the random panda." Joleen....LOVE that girl!!! I had her change a few things on it....got the invitation JUST how I liked it and placed the order!......A few days later - the party time and location had to be changed! (I KNOW!) I was STRESSED!!! I emailed Joleen with the Random Panda back and she said "sure - no problem and NO CHARGE!"
She worked with me from beginning to end!!!! I HIGHLY recommend THE RANDOM PANDA! I've already placed a second order with her for a friend of ours, ALSO having a birthday party!

Long, cold, icy, snowing, weekend! :)
